Assistant Manager - Information Technology
ESPONSIBILIES
70% Applition management
- Work with business to understand their challenges.
- Formula challenges to IT requirements.
- Help and contribute to the final solution.
- End to end project management.
30% Desktop and infrastructure support
- Act as a backup desktop support manager.
- Collect long term desktop and infrastructure challenges.
- Group challenges into problem area.
- Push for core resolution of the problem area.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in IT consulting or IT service delivery within a medium or large enterprise.
- Contribute or manage a medium to large size application development and deployment.
- Great customer service skills, proactive service attitude, and strong business sense.
- Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
- Practical experience and hands-on knowledge with the following technologies would be an advantage:
- Exchange mail systems and Outlook
- Windows operating systems (Win7, Server 2003/2008/2012)
- PC hardware upgrades and replacements
- VMWare / Virtualisation
- TCP/IP and Ethernet networks
- PABX and/or VOIP telephone systems and voicemail administration
- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Windows Server and database technology would be an advantage.
