Assistant Manager - Information Technology

 

ESPONSIBILIES

70% Applition management

  • Work with business to understand their challenges.
  • Formula challenges to IT requirements.
  • Help and contribute to the final solution.
  • End to end project management.

30% Desktop and infrastructure support

  • Act as a backup desktop support manager.
  • Collect long term desktop and infrastructure challenges.
  • Group challenges into problem area.
  • Push for core resolution of the problem area.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in IT consulting or IT service delivery within a medium or large enterprise.
  • Contribute or manage a medium to large size application development and deployment.
  • Great customer service skills, proactive service attitude, and strong business sense.
  • Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
  • Practical experience and hands-on knowledge with the following technologies would be an advantage:
  • Exchange mail systems and Outlook
  • Windows operating systems (Win7, Server 2003/2008/2012)
  • PC hardware upgrades and replacements
  • VMWare / Virtualisation
  • TCP/IP and Ethernet networks
  • PABX and/or VOIP telephone systems and voicemail administration
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Windows Server and database technology would be an advantage.
