LUXSTATE Capital Advisors is the financial services arm of LUXSTATE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm by revenue, with a global platform of over 100 real estate finance professionals across EMEA, the United States and Asia Pacific.  We focus exclusively on private capital raising and providing private capital advisory services for private equity real estate funds, developers, property owners and investors. 

 

We assist with our clients with a wide range of real estate private capital advisory transactions, including private equity fund placement, investment structuring, joint venture and co-investment.  LUXSTATE Capital Advisors is licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC) to conduct dealing in securities and investment advisory activities in Hong Kong.

 

As part of our expansion process, we are looking to add an experienced professional to our Hong Kong team covering the Greater China markets. Reporting directly to the Directors in Hong Kong, the successful candidate will form an integral part of the team to provide support in the origination and execution of various capital raising and investment advisory transactions across regions. You will also have the opportunity to play an integral role working with some of the most sophisticated clients in the world in structuring financing transactions and devising strategies that enable them to capitalize on the value of real estate assets.  To be considered for this position you should be well presented, articulate and have the ability to build strong client relationships.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in transactional execution including preparing and presenting proposals, information memorandum and investor presentations.
  • Perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow analyses and financial due diligence.
  • Conduct industry research (qualitative & quantitative) and maintain industry databases.
  • Manage deal processes and coordinate scheduling and materials for client meetings and investor roadshows.
  • Support the development of new business initiatives and client relationship management.

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience from a reputable investment bank, private equity real estate investment firm or top tier strategy consulting firm with direct exposure to real estate sector.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Real Estate Finance, Economics or Finance with an excellent academic background from a top-tier university.   Candidates with a MBA / CFA are a plus.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Understanding of financial accounting, real estate finance and property valuation.
  • High attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills to manage various imminent transactions concurrently in a professional and organized manner.
  • Entrepreneurial and highly motivated team player, with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all members of the organization.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent command of written and fluency in spoken English, Putonghua and Cantonese.
